Poland 2-1 Costa Rica

Poland finally got a win to restore much of their tarnished respect after two defeats. However, it seemed to be a bad day for them when Ronald Gomez put Costa Rica ahead. Fortunately, in the 33rd minute, defender Bartosz Bosacki equalized for the Poles and after another 33 minutes he scored the winner with a header.

Yawn, an average game that doesn't interest Soccer Pundit so not much comments, looking forward to the match between England and Sweden...

'Some people believe football is a matter of life and death. I'm very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that.'
