Sweden draws with Trinidad and Tobago

Goal shy Sweden cannot find the goals in this match which ends up 0-0 and they are bound to face an uphill task in later matches.

The unfancied Trinidad and Tobago, down to 10 men early in the second half of their Group B World Cup opener, kept the Swedes at bay with veteran goalkeeper Shaka Hislop the hero of the night.

Having world class target men Zlatan Ibrahimovic(Juventus) and Henrik Larsson(Barcelona) did not help matters but one consolation would be Kim Kallstrom who came on in the 78th minute and stepped up the attacking impetus.

What Sweden needs is a playmaker and a link-man for the strikers to be effective, if Kim Kallstrom starts in subsequent matches, Sweden may have a better chance. Their next game against Paraguay is a MUST WIN.
