Tunisia draw 2-2 with Saudi Arabia

Just a short commentary as this match doesn't raise my interest much.

Ziad Jaziri opened the scoring for Tunisia in the 23rd minute, volleying in a loose ball after a free kick rebounded from Saudi defenders Redha Tukar and Hamad Al Montashari. But Saudi Arabia equalised in the 57th minute when Yasser Al Qahtani guided in a cross from Mohammed Noor.

Substitute Sami Al Jaber struck the winner six minutes from time when he broke free on the left and ran on to score but Saudi joy was short-lived when Jaidi scored the late equaliser.

Both were desperate to win: Tunisia have not tasted victory at a FIFA World Cup since their first-ever game in Argentina 1978 against Mexico while the Saudis were looking to end a run of seven matches without a win on the world stage. Soccer Pundit feels this is a fair result for both teams.
